"Springfield, Missouri Product Leads The Charge For Canada's Best Restroom® Contest"

"Springfield, Missouri Product Leads The Charge For Canada's Best Restroom® Contest"

(SPRINGFIELD, MO) - A Springfield-based company that aims to reduce the spread of germs and promote sustainable practices was recognized by judges from Cintas Canada, Ltd. during judging for Canada’s Best Restroom ® Contest at a car dealership in St. Albert, Canada.

StepNpull, a foot-operated door opener, has already made it into offices of big names like Google, YouTube, Boeing, Walmart, St. Jude Research Hospital, Ford, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Army.

StepNpull’s creators, Mike Sewell, Ron Ely, and Kelly Coddington, all live in the Ozarks and work in Springfield, Missouri. After ten plus years of business, their product can be seen all over the world in places like Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Australia, and even Norway.

Customers like St. Albert Honda continue to take sustainability and infection prevention seriously by incorporating the concept into their building designs.

St. Albert Honda located in St Albert, Alberta is one of five finalists selected based on overall cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality, and unique design elements. The finalists are fighting for bragging rights and a royal restroom treatment from Cintas worth $2,500 in facility services.

“We are happy to see substantial interest and growth from markets outside of the United States, and flattered that companies are being recognized for incorporating StepNpull into their building design,” says co-owner Mike Sewell.

“Everything we incorporated into our dealership redesign was built around the principle of sustainability; we want to minimize our electronic-footprint and the total amount of waste that our facility produces,” says Dealer Principal Ross Hodgins of St. Albert Honda.

The last day to vote for one of the five finalists in the 2018 Canada’s Best Restroom ® Contest is Friday, August 17th. Voting and more information on finalists and past winners can be found at www.bestrestroom.com/canada.
